Fascias and soffits sit at the edge of your roof and are exposed to rain, wind and moisture throughout the year. Over time, they can become cracked, damaged or deteriorated, particularly where water has been getting into the roofline.

If you’ve noticed damaged boards, peeling or discoloured sections, loose soffits or problems with the guttering, the roofline may need to be repaired or replaced.

Our fascia, soffit and guttering services

We carry out roofline work on both domestic and commercial properties, including repairs, replacements and new installations.

Fascia repairs and replacement – damaged or deteriorated fascia boards can be repaired where suitable or replaced when they have reached the end of their useful life.
Soffit repairs and replacement – cracked, damaged or worn soffits can be repaired or replaced to restore the roofline.
New fascia and soffit installation – new roofline systems can be supplied and fitted where an existing roofline needs replacing or a new installation is required.
Guttering – new guttering can be supplied and fitted, and existing gutters can be replaced where they are damaged or no longer working properly.
Complete roofline work – ascias, soffits and guttering can be dealt with together where several parts of the roofline need replacing.

The condition of the existing roofline will determine whether a repair is suitable or whether replacement is needed. Where only part of the system is damaged, the affected sections can be dealt with without unnecessary work to the rest of the roofline.

From the very start the communication was excellent, they turned up when they said and have completed an outstanding job. Milligan's arranged everything including the scaffold and waste removal. 1. How much does fascia and soffit replacement cost?

The cost depends on the size of the roofline, the condition of the existing fascias and soffits, and whether guttering also needs to be replaced. We'll assess the property and provide a quote for the work required.

2. Can damaged fascias and soffits be repaired?

In some cases, yes. If the damage is limited to certain sections and the remaining roofline is in suitable condition, those areas can be repaired rather than replacing everything.

3. When do fascias and soffits need replacing?

Cracks, rot, loose sections, visible deterioration and ongoing water damage can all be signs that the roofline needs attention. If the existing materials are badly deteriorated, replacement may be more suitable than repair.

4. Do you also replace guttering?
